Zimbra Collaboration Server
Zimbra is a feature rich collaboration and messaging platform developed by the virtualization giant VMware. It is an open source alternative to Microsoft Exchange server. Zimbra Collaboration Server is capable sending and receiving e-mail messages without spam and viruses. Zimbra uses on-line calendars, addressbooks, and creates documents easily with its web client. Zimbra has a strong
community version that is available for no cost, as well as an
enterprise version with additional features like native Outlook and mobile connectivity. Migrating from an IMAP server and/or Microsoft Exchange is realtively easy task with the official migration tool provided by VMware. Zimbra server is recommended for small businesses with a strong hardware environment (with 4-8GB RAM). Zimbra Collaboration Server is a software appliance, it expects a dedicated physical or virtual machine.
SOGo Groupware
SOGo server is an alternative lightweight groupware solution with a focus on scalability and open standards. It provides a rich AJAX-based web interface, and supports multiple native clients through the use of standard protocols such as CalDAV, CardDAV and GroupDAV. SOGo can easily work on weaker hardware than Zimbra, so it is recommended for companies with 10-50 mailing users for a modest hardware environment (with 2-4GB RAM).

Samba server is the freedome of the open source file server and domain controller. With Samba, a whole Windows domain system can be imitated with open source software. Using your Windows network in a domain instead of workgroup will guarantee access control, fine-tune of the permissions, central configuration & management through network logon/logout and additional central user management tools.
VPN services
Virtual Private Network: a secure, encrypted connection to the network, for example with access to file shares, printers and other services in the office, for example. Access is restricted with private client keys that can be easily "revoked" by an administrator. The OpenVPN is a reliable open source VPN solution.
